Extendí el rollo. Lo abollé, lentamente, disfrutándolo: con fuerza, pero con paciencia, mediante mis movimientos, tratando de vencer al material que, arruga tras arruga, comenzaba a dibujar su próxima abolladura. El cuerpo le dió cuerpo al material. 
Y aquella forma, dió forma a mi cuerpo.
El papel también me moldeo a mí.

 I unrolled the sheet.
I crumpled it, slowly, savoring it: with force, yet with patience,
through my movements, trying to overcome the
material that, crease after crease, began
to draw its next dent. The body gave body to the material.
And that form gave form to my body.
The paper also shaped me.
